GLC's network expertise includes the design and deployment of
its own SS-7 Signaling System. GLC has a matched pair of Broadband
Signal Transfer Points (STPs) that serve as signaling hubs for the
transfer of digital packets between network nodes handling call set-up,
database look-up and Advanced Intelligent Networking (AIN) services, as
well as ensuring network security and integrity. Our STPs are
interconnected with other National and Global SS-7 Service Providers via
redundant signaling links providing reliable seamless services. As
signaling hubs, GLC's STPs provide centralized network management, and
facilitate the delivery of intelligent services throughout the network. |
